Spiritual history of Raja Ram temple

The king of Orchha, Madhukar Shah Ju, was a devotee of Lord Krishna, and his wife, Queen Ganesh Kunwari, was a devotee of Lord Rama. Once, the king wished to visit Braj-Mathura, while the queen wished to visit Ayodhya. The king became angry and ordered the queen that she could return to Orchha only if she brought Lord Rama in the form of a child. Thereafter, the queen immediately went to Ayodhya. Upon reaching Ayodhya, the queen began to pray to Lord Rama, but Lord Rama did not appear. Finally, in despair, she jumped into the Sarayu River at midnight. Pleased with her prayers and devotion, Lord Rama manifested in child form in the queen's lap. Lord Rama agreed to three conditions:

1:'I will only travel during the Pushya constellation so that I can reach Orchha along with the sages.
2: when we reach Orchha, I will become the king of Orchha.
3: the place where you first place me will be my final abode.'
